Description:
Identifies and designates those properties and districts eligible for listing on the Phoenix Historic Property Register. Protects designated properties through city review and approval of exterior alterations to buildings and demolition requests. Provides matching grants to property owners to assist with their rehabilitation projects. Offers rehabilitation training and educational activities to heighten public awareness and appreciation for the community's historic resources.
