Eligibility:
Veterans already enrolled in VA health care who have been (or will be) waiting more than 20 days for VA primary care or live more than 30 minutes driving time for VA primary care
Intake Process:
Call to verify eligibility, preferred provider, and that the care is covered by VA
Description:
Program allows enrolled veterans to access health care in the community without impacting other VA benefits. Veterans may obtain primary care, inpatient and outpatient specialty care, and mental health care from community-based providers when the local VA medical center cannot provide the services due to long wait times or excessive travel burdens.

Mon-Fri 8am-8pm Eastern Time

None to enroll; VA co-pays or deductible cost-share may apply for care
