People who are homeless and travelers

Intake Process:

Visit local post office. To apply for post office box, must bring photo ID and provide a verifiable point of contact, such as place of employment, shelter, or social service office. For General Delivery, must bring photo ID to pick up mail.

Description:

Provides free post office boxes for people experiencing homelessness. Also provides General Delivery service to anyone traveling.

Hours:

Mon-Fri 8am-8:30pm, Sat 8am-6pm Eastern Time customer service by phone; 24-hours website; local office hours vary

Program Fees:

None for people who are homeless or traveling
