Intake Process:
Call or visit office. Must bring two forms of ID included, but not limited to, government-issued photo ID and proof of residency (utility bill with client's name and current address) for food boxes. Must bring government photo ID for all adults of the household, verification of household income, proof of residency (copy of lease or mortgage paperwork), and school documentation or birth records for all children in the household for utility assistance.
Description:
Provides services, subject to availability, for families in need. Provides emergency food boxes; emergency utility assistance for electric and gas service primarily for families with a past due or shut off notice; sleeping bags for homeless clients through a partnership with the Ugly Quilt Group of Mesa; cat and dog food through a partnership with Pets of the Homeless; cooling center and bottled water during the summer.

Accepts donations of food and hygiene items year round, and new and unwrapped toys for the Angel Tree program during the Christmas season.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteers assist in making food boxes, greet clients at reception, help with basic computer input of client information, assist with the Senior Meal Program, and perform general cleaning tasks.
