Eligibility:
Veterans with active duty service time, who are homelessness or near-homeless in Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima, and Santa Cruz counties; must be at or below 50% of the area medium income
Intake Process:
Call for schedule; must bring photo ID, DD-214 discharge papers (if available), and proof of income
Description:
Provides support services for veterans who are experiencing homelessness or near-homeless. Services include housing stability planning, budgeting, deposits for rent and utilities, moving and storage costs, some household supplies, auto repair if needed for work, employment-related expenses, child care, and bus passes. Resource specialists visit locations in southern Arizona on a rotating basis.
Hours:
Mon-Fri 8am-noon, 1pm-4pm administration; Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 8am-noon, 1pm-3pm Tucson drop-in times
