Eligibility:
Arizona tenants with valid written rental lease who are experiencing housing insecurity or risk of eviction. Must have at least one housing members under the age of 18 or over the age of 60. Housing income must be at or at least 80% of the Area Median Income. Applicants under age 60 must meet minimum employment; support; or education, vocal, or job training program requirements.

Description:
Provides rental assistance to low income seniors and families with children in Arizona who are expecting housing insecurity or risk of eviction. Eligability households may receive a lump-sum assistance payment equal to three months of rent. Program benefits may be used to cover past due rent, future rent, and rent late fees and penalties.
Prior recipients of rental assistance benefits under the ended Emergency Rental Assistance Program are not eligible for the Arizona Rental Assistance Program (ERAP ended on October 2023).
