Description:
VA patients are encouraged to speak to the treatment team in the case of a compliment, suggestion, or concern regarding care. The treatment team includes the doctor, nurse, social worker, dietitian, pharmacist, chaplain, therapist, and other health care professionals. If the concerns are not addressed, patients you may contact a VA Patient Advocate. Advocates serve as a liaison between the patients and the hospital. They respond to feedback from veterans, family members, and friends and work to find solutions.
