Description:

Court has the authority to hear probate and mental health cases in four locations. Handles guardianships, establishment of wills, estate settlements, and decisions relating to the administration of estates of minors and people adjudged to be incompetent to manage their own affairs. Monitors the quality of care for the people who have been placed under guardianship/conservatorship.

Volunteers act as court visitors and observers and work at various sites to review court files of vulnerable adults. Volunteers must pass a background check.
