Parade Marshall Volunteer Opportunities

Taxonomy Code: PX-8000.6400

Organizations that are actively seeking individuals who are willing, on a voluntary basis without remuneration, to assist in the planning, promotion and production of a parade. Volunteers in this position manage the assembly area at the beginning of the parade route and keep entrants in sequence as they await their runs; move entrants smoothly and quickly into the parade line-up; ensure orderly progression of the parade itself by keeping the parade moving and preventing large gaps from forming between parade units; and, at the end of the parade, direct entrants into the dispersal area.
