Description:
Provides workshops in Native American basket weaving, pottery, painting, music, and storytelling performances. Features the creation of parade puppets representing Sonoran Desert critters and a program of mime and clowning. Celebration of International Day of Peace with a parade of giant dove kites. Also sponsors the Ajo Memory Project, an oral history project collecting stories from past residents of the local Indian Village and the Mexican Town.
