Description:
Works to promote good health, prevent diseases, and prepare for new health threats. Monitors and tracks the incidence of various diseases, including the coronavirus (COVID-19). Publishes information about health indicators and statistics. Issues travel notices about current health issues related to specific destinations. Museum is designed to educate visitors about the value of prevention-based public health, and features exhibits on the history of public health messages and epidemics.
Hours:
Mon-Fri 8am-8pm Eastern Time by phone. Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 9am-5pm; Thu 9am-7pm museum. 24-hours operations.
