Eligibility:
Residents of the United States or American citizens living abroad who are unable to use regular print materials as a result of a temporary or permanent visual or physical limitation. Does not include people who are illiterate or who are learning English as a second language.

Description:
Maintains a free library of braille, large print, and audio materials for people who cannot see regular print or handle print materials, or who have a reading disability. Items are sent to borrowers by mail by a network of cooperating libraries. Patrons may also download some materials through the Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) system.
