Seniors 60 and older who are homebound, unable to drive, and living independently in Chandler, Gilbert and Queen Creek. Ability to enter and exit vehicles required. Unable to assist those who have dementia.

Description:
Provides services for homebound seniors and people with a disability in Chandler, Gilbert and Queen Creek. Services include transportation to and from medical and social appointments, grocery shopping, client visits and welfare checks, and small repairs and tasks around the home including changing light bulbs and furnace filters. All services provided by volunteers. San Tan Valley only provides reassurance calls.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteers assist clients with transportation to and from medical and social appointments, grocery shopping, client visits and welfare checks, and small repairs and tasks around the home including changing light bulbs and furnace filters. Volunteers must attend orientation and interview. Volunteers must complete an application and sign a waiver. Some activities may require fingerprinting and background checks. Motor Vehicle Report and valid driver license required.
