Description:
Provides demonstrations of assistive listening technologies such as caption phones and amplifiers for telephones, doorbells, and alarm clocks. Offers information and demonstrations of inductive loop technology and cochlear implants. Community outreach presentations available. Also provides referrals to counselors, hearing dog programs, CART (Communication Access Real-Time Translation) providers, and other services. Offers communication training in American Sign Language and speech reading.
