Eligibility:

Age 8-13 for youth classes. Age 14 and older and adults for scholarship-eligible classes.

Description:

Provides information on the US Constitution and the philosophy of freedom. Offers classes on the principles of liberty and the concepts of free markets, private property, and limited government for people age 14 and older; successful participants can apply for academic and travel scholarships. Also provides classes on economics and the law for youth. Loans books, CDs, DVDs, and cassette tapes. Offers meeting space for small groups.

Hours:

Mon-Fri 9am-noon, 1pm-5pm

Program Fees:

$20 for youth classes; $50 for scholarship-eligible classes

Accepts monetary donations and school supplies and books. Pick-up may be arranged.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteers help with clerical duties including filing, writing thank you letters, developing and maintaining sponsor lists; and serve as media and school contacts. Accepts court ordered community service.
