Recovery Empowerment Network Recovery Support Training

Eligibility:

Adults and Teens living with mental illness and/or substance use disorder who are current consumers of AHCCCS behavioral health services.

Intake Process:

Call, email, or visit website for self-referral

Description:

Provides training for certification as a Peer Support Specialist. Training includes classroom instruction, practicum in direct service, CPR and first aid/AED certification, pre-employment resume development and employment search skills training, and administration of the Arizona State Peer Support Certification Exam.

Hours:

Mon-Fri 7:30am-3:30pm; classes vary

Program Fees:

None for members, self pay accepted

Languages:

English, other languages through interpreter
