Description:
Sets and enforces environmental health standards. Issues permits to food establishments and inspects them for code compliance. Issues food safety permits for food handlers who pass a safety class. Offers training courses and issues permits for pool and aquatic facility operators. Vector Control program monitors mosquito-borne illnesses including West Nile Virus and Zika Virus. Performs mosquito abatement services.
