Description:
Conducts routine testing of retail motor fuel dispensers for volume accuracy and computed price, and tests samples of petroleum fuels for quality. Tests large commercial scales, and propane meters. Also tests retail checkout scanners and scales, and checks prepackaged commodities for weight accuracy to insure full weight content. Licenses all commercial scales used in Arizona. Accepts and investigates complaints about any of these items.
