*COVID PRECAUTIONS IN PLACE* New clients needing utility assistance can visit office Mon-Thu 8am-10am or until all time slots have been filled. Previous utility assistance clients must call Fri 9:30am-10am. Rent and mortgage assistance clients must call to sign up for an orientation class Thu 2pm-2:30pm.
Description:
Provides financial and case management services to individuals and families who are facing an emergency situation impacting their housing, utilities, health, and safety. Assists with air conditioner repairs during the summer for those who cannot afford to pay for the repairs themselves. Assists with one month past due on rent or mortgage or first month's rent. Offers Individual Development Accounts (IDA) with matched funds to qualifying individuals and families for assistance with education at a Maricopa Community College. Offers personal finance education.
Hours:
Mon-Thu 8am-10am or until all time slots have been filled, new clients can visit office for utility assistance. Fri 9:30am-10am previous utility assistance clients must call. Thu 2pm-2:30pm clients must call to sign up for an orientation class for rent and mortgage assistance.
