Description:
Measures and analyzes airborne pollutants. Ensures facilities are in compliance with applicable regulations and permit conditions. Restricts wood burning fire use on high pollution days. Enforces compliance with federal, state and county air pollution regulations. Enforces regulations on dust, fireplace use, burning activities, vacant lots and unpaved areas, and off-highway vehicles. Reviews applications for Title V, Non-Title V and General permits. Drafts and finalizes air pollution control rules and ordinances and for compiling emissions inventories.
