Children age 5 and younger and pregnant women and their families in the East Valley; must be on low income

Intake Process:

Call or visit website for list of sites and to enroll. Must have proof of child's age (such as birth certificate), residency (such as lease agreement or utilities bill), and income (such as W-2 form). Accepts self-declaration in place of documentation.

Description:

Administers Head Start and Early Head Start programs in various locations in the East Valley. Sites offer classroom and home-based early education services for children in low income families. The emphasis is on school readiness. Services include nutritious meals, medical and dental services, activities for parents, and assistance for children with special needs.
