Eligibility:
Individuals and families in need including those who are homeless. For utility assistance, people must live in specific service areas, have past due bills, and must not currently receive Section 8 benefits.
Intake Process:
Call for an appointment. Must bring proof of address and income, and photo ID.
Description:
Provides emergency assistance for families in need including food boxes, cooling center, hydration station, and other emergency needs. Provides information about and referrals to other community resources.
Hours:
Mon-Fri 9am-noon, 1pm-4pm; Mon 9am-11am utility assistance screening for people in Tempe and Guadalupe who have past due bills and do not receive Section 8 benefits; Fri 9am-11am utility assistance screening for people in Scottsdale who have past due bills and do not receive Section 8 benefits
