Description:
Provides independent living support for adults with visual impairments. Includes classes on daily living skills, Braille, orientation and mobility, and job readiness. Also provides training on various adaptive and assistive technology. Includes information on computer software, hand held magnifiers, screen readers, screen magnifiers, and CCTVs (closed circuit televisions); and on computer keyboarding, typing, using the Internet, and email. Offers counseling. Services offered in-person and virtually.
