Eligibility:

Individuals and families on very low income who live in the city of Mesa. Housing voucher program is based on income at or below 50% very low income (VLI). Deposit assistance eligibility is based on income at or below 80% of the area median income (AMI). Visit website for current AMI

Description:

Provides public housing in project-based apartment complexes and Section 8 rent subsidies for various apartment complexes to people on low income. Applicants are placed on a waiting list until assistance is available. Provides assistance with refundable portion of security and utility deposits to low income Mesa residence prior to signing a lease

Hours:

Mon-Thu 7:30am-5pm lobby hours, by appointment only for Housing Specialist

Program Fees:

Rent is 30% of income
