Adults who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness seeking to gain employment in the culinary industry

Description:

Provides culinary training for people who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness. The program provides participants with the skills needed to obtain employment in the culinary field. Skills include sanitation, various techniques, food prep, and cooking. Includes assistance in writing a resume, interviewing skills, and job placement. Also provides assistance for participants to get their food handler's permit.

Tue, Thu 9am-8pm; Wed, Fri 9am-6pm; Sat by appointment only

Yes

Accessibility:

Participants must be able to stand on their feet for 8 hours, multitask, and be able to lift 50 pounds. Also must be able to lift 10 pounds 10 times an hour for 8 hours.
