Description:

Provides therapeutic horseback riding for people with mental, emotional, and/or physical challenges to improve their well-being. Uses the movement of horses to increase strength, stamina, mobility, confidence, focus, attention, loosen tight muscles, organize mobility, etc. Locations in New River, and Peoria.

Accepts cash donations and donations of certain tack and Bermuda hay for horses.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteers age 12 and older do not need horse experience, but must commit to helping 4 or more hours one day a week. Volunteers assist in prepping horses and arenas for riders, assist in riders' lessons be leading horses or by being a safety-side aide, and clean up. Volunteers help organize fundraisers and write grants. Accepts court ordered community service.
