Eligibility:

All homeowners and renters with permission of the landlord in Maricopa County and the Phoenix Metro Area

Call to have application mailed or visit website to apply

Description:

The Safe at Home Program provides home safety modifications to reduce household hazards and provide greater accessibility in the home. Modifications include grab bars, non-skid mats, bathing seats, handheld shower heads, toilet risers and rails, and exterior access ramps.

Hours:

Mon-Fri 8am-4pm administration

Program Fees:

None for those that meet income qualifications, and a modest fee to cover the cost of materials for all others
