Exotic parrots, including budgies, cockatiels, lovebirds, and parakeets, are accepted on a case-by-case basis; must be vet-tested and found negative for contagious fatal diseases

Description:

Provides lifetime care, housing, and medical treatment for abused, disabled, and otherwise needy parrots and related birds whose owners can no longer care for them. Birds are not sold, traded, adopted out, bred, or euthanized.

Relinquishing owner is asked to pay for intake medical testing and provide annual financial support

Wishlist:

Accepts donations of household cleaning items, towels, and office supplies. Current needs are for an industrial power washer, gas-powered generator, small tiller, pet carriers of any size, heat/cool window AC unit, and an electric golf cart.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteers assist with caring for the birds. Accepts day volunteers and those on week-long, work-vacations (accommodations included).
