Agua Fria Food and Clothing Bank

Eligibility:

People in need including those with low income and those who are experiencing homelessness. Must live in Avondale, Goodyear, Tolleson, Cashion, Buckeye, or Litchfield Park.

Intake Process:

Visit office or website; Need photo ID and proof of current address within eligible cities.

Description:

Provides emergency food, clothing, shoes, and household goods to those in need. Provides shower facility, towels, and toiletries kits for people who are transient or experiencing homelessness. Diapers, formula, and other baby items may be available once per month for families with children age 12 months and younger depending upon donations and the program wait list. Distributes Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes to people in need.

Mon-Fri 8am-noon administration; Mon, Thu 8am-noon clothing bank

Accepts monetary donations and donations of new and gently used clothing for men, women, and children; personal hygiene items, nonperishable food items; unopened packages of frozen meats; fresh produce; and cases of bottled water.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteers help with office and clerical tasks, food sorting and distributing, and clothing bank duties.
