Description:
Community group advises, makes recommendations, and serves as an advocate in areas that affect education in Pima County. Brings public and private school educators together with business, social service, and community leaders and provides a nonpartisan atmosphere to discuss educational priorities and disputes, recognize educational excellence, and share information about emerging educational techniques and new applications. Provides annual recognition of people and programs in the community contributing to educational excellence through the Crystal Apple Awards.
