Description:
Administers heirloom seed preservation program. Preserves, distributes, and documents the diverse varieties of agricultural seeds. Safeguards more than 2,000 varieties of arid land-adapted crops.

Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Program Fees:
$35 an up for annual membership dues; none for Southwest Native Americans

Volunteers assist with clerical and accounting tasks, enter data, clean and package seeds, help with germination projects, organize research materials, and scan and organize photos.
