Description:

Council is made up of elected officials who administer programs serving members of the Tohono O'odham tribe. The main Reservation is located between Tucson and Ajo, with its administrative center in Sells. Four of the districts are not contiguous with the main Reservation including The San Xavier District southwest of Tucson, the San Lucy District near the city of Gila Bend, the Florence Village near the city of Florence, and part of northern Sonora, Mexico.
