Description:

Educates the public on the understanding and appreciation of archaeology and other cultures. Encourages the preservation of archaeological and historical sites and works to develop a lifelong concern for the importance of nonrenewable resources and traditional cultures. Offers hands-on education programs for children. Also offers adult classes, workshops, and research opportunities in archaeology, history, and cultures, including prehistory and archaeological methods classes, and pottery making and arrowhead making workshops. Provides guided tours to sites of archaeological, historical, and cultural interest.
