Description:
Facilitates the adoption of unwanted captive desert tortoises to qualified custodians. Works almost exclusively with the Desert tortoise and the Western Box turtle. Website provides answers to frequently asked questions on the care of tortoises. Also rehabilitates tortoises suffering from disease or malnutrition. Program is sanctioned by the Arizona Game and Fish Department.
