Description:
Regulates sanitary conditions of food establishments, public and semi-public swimming pools and spas, mobile home and RV parks, hotels and motels. Issues licenses, and inspects and investigates complaints about regulated facilities. Website provides ratings of restaurants. Conducts classes for food handler certification and pool certification. Also operates the vector control program and responds to complaints to eliminate public health nuisances.
