Description:

Office issues marriage licenses and divorce decrees. For marriage licenses, the state does not require a blood test and there is no waiting period requirement. The license is valid for 12 months from the date of issuance. People ages 18-21 need proof of age. People ages 16-17 need notarized consent of one custodial parent, photo ID, and birth certificate; the other party cannot be more than 36 months older than the minor. For petitions for divorce, the court accepts divorce documents from attorneys and from self-help kits.

$83 marriage license; fees vary for divorce. Accepts cash, check, money order, and debit and credit cards.
