Dream Center Neighborhood Revitalization

Recipients include single mothers, families living below the poverty level, people with disabilities, people who are unemployed, and seniors

Description:

Teams of volunteers go into Phoenix neighborhoods weekly to help high risk, underprivileged youth and their families by mowing lawns, removing graffiti, and performing minor home repairs. Services for involved youth include transportation to the Dream Center, groceries, back-to-school supplies, tutoring, and inspirational/motivational events.

Mon-Fri 9am-5pm administration; service times vary

Accepts donations of hot dogs, hamburgers, condiments, disposable cups and plates, aluminum foil, propane refills, small soft drinks and drinking water, and children's clothing.

Volunteer Opportunities:
