Potential adopters must pass a screening process
Intake Process:
Call, email, or visit website for adoption schedule; apply online. Must provide transportation, and halter and lead rope for each animal adopted.
Description:
Manages and protects wild horses and burros. Also gathers, trains, and adopts them into properly screened homes.
Hours:
1st & 3rd Fri by appointment
Program Fees:
$125 adoption fee for untrained burros and horses; $500 & more for trained burros; $1,000 & more for trained horses
