Programs that provide classes, helplines, articles or other resources for people who want to develop a basic understanding and control of the pets, working/sporting animals, show animals, exotic animals or other creatures who are in their care.
Programs that provide the services of individuals who take dogs for regular walks at the request of their owners. Dogs may be walked singly or in groups or taken to off-leash dog parks, beaches or other fun destinations.
Programs that provide training for pet owners that focuses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques and other emergency procedures that have been adapted for use with animals and can save a pet's life prior to the availability of professional treatment.
Programs that provide facilities for the temporary housing and care of pets when their owners are on vacation or otherwise unable to maintain them. Also included are programs that provide for the care of pets in the owner's own home on a visitation or temporary live-in basis.
Programs that provide general pet care guidelines for people who own or are thinking about having a pet.
