Description:
Museum features hands-on exhibits on mining and copper. Exhibits emphasize factors that influenced the establishment of the Bisbee community as the copper mining center in Southeastern Arizona, including the influences of corporate mining, ethnic labor, transportation and technology. The Shattuck Memorial Research Library inside the museum provides books, files, oral histories, and microfilm archives which focus on Bisbee and Western history. An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution.
